Halloween

This past friday I saw Rob Zombie's take on Halloween. The movie was very disturbing and the thing that always stood out that was different from the previous version was that the boy seemed to be shown as a caring person the first 30 or 45mins of the movie. Rob Zombie slowly eased us all into what we knew to be inevitable, the boy slowly started to change in front of our eyes and we started to see his darker side with his obsession with masks and injuring being lower than him. But, what I liked is that Rob portrayed his change by the camera zooming in on his face and he slowly lowers his mask over his face which put him in "kill mode".

I really wanna see this movie. I love Rob Zombie's other flicks and can't wait to see this one.

The thing that really freaked me ou about this remake is the compassion that the little boy version of michael myers did show. It was sick how premeditated they made his murders. I mean after trick or treating, he sits down, enjoys some candy and then savagely murders his family. its very disturbing but entertaining.

What is it about his face exactly that makes ir turn from good to evil? What do you see? (Thanks for the image). Hair in face? Bulging eyes?

This movie scared the crap out of me. I hate those masks and the hair in the face and stuff. He is just so freaky. And huge. It was so sad to see that he was killing even his friends, like the spanish janitor from the prison and his shrink, not to mention his family members. Creepy.
